lyrics

For my voice is an abstract pulse
and its sound is an endless stream
for my father and mother I pray
crystalline reflections become decay

There are seven dead horses
under my skin
I see seven dying stars
burrying my sin

The one thing I dreamed
the other one I told
the third one I burned
for eternity, in gold
in fucking gold

From the first day on
I numbered the stars
named the distant planets
built them pitch black altars

The monument stands in silence
absorbs the inner light
stumbling through the dark
with my entrails it writes

Then there was this figure
it asked me for my crowns
searched me in the nights
and strangled my fathers hounds

It looked for the reason
my mother gave me birth
it highlighted my paths
following me on earth

Through a veil he talks to me
conduct me whilst I sleep
I shall kill my genesis
so our fountain becomes tenebrous

For my voice is an abstract pulse
and its sound is an endless stream
for my father and mother I pray
crystalline reflections become decay

Until my last day
I'll number the stars
name the distant planets
and build pitch black altars

There are seven dead horses
under my skin
I see seven dying stars
burrying my sin

The one thing I dreamed
the other one I told
the third one I burned
for eternity, in gold
in fucking gold
